Licensed Massage Therapist
I am a Colorado native, born and raised in a small mountain town. Spending many hours on adventures out in my beautiful surroundings, I gained an appreciation for the great outdoors and all it has to offer. Although I am not a hunter, archery was one of the outdoor sports I was introduced to while I was in high school. After finding a Junior Olympic archery team to be a part of, I was awarded the position of Captain. I chose to shoot a recurve barebow and set a goal of winning an archery championship. After hard work and training, I not only won tournaments but was awarded the belt buckle as a Colorado State Champion! I look back on those days appreciating the lessons I learned. Lessons like setting goals, focusing on achieving those goals and ultimately striving to be the best I can be has rendered itself useful in my adult life.
Having received massage and chiropractic treatments while participating in archery and as a skier, I found an interest in a career.
I made the decision to attend the Colorado School of Healing Arts. I graduated top in my class after completing the massage therapist requirements of 720 hours. Recently, I went back to school to attend the Trauma Touch Therapy class. I now obtain 50 hours in Trauma Touch Therapy Level 1 training. My goal is to help people with injury rehabilitation, chronic pain and the traumatic effects that can occur post injury or illness.
I enjoy photography, I am an avid nature fan and art extraordinaire. I have taken classes at the Art Students League of Denver in figure drawing and have traveled to New York, Pennsylvania and Texas to further my knowledge about the art of human anatomy.
